[Penny peers out from the storage closet. There are clothes strewn about in piles; if there's any order or organization to the mess, however, it's not obvious.]

Hey, Stiles! How're you doing?

M'good.

[ Leaning against the doorjamb. ] So, how do we do this thing?

Um... [She pauses to take stock of her own system.] Well. Right now I'm just sorting by season, and then sorting by size in each season.

[studmuffin]

By season?

[ Grinning. ] Lydia'd be better at this.

Yeah, like... what season you'd wear them in.

Who's Lydia? [Whoever she is, Penny doesn't doubt that she'd be better at this.]

This amazing girl back home. [ He grins, forgets briefly about Jackson and about Derek and the whole clusterfuck. ]

Strawberry blonde hair, amazing smile, looks that could literally knock you down dead. Many have fallen to her Louboutins.

She sounds pretty amazing, but I don't think anyone who wears Louboutins would want to sort used clothes like this. Was she your girlfriend?

No, no. She dated the co-captain of the lacrosse team. Way out of my league.

[ He holds his hand around his waist. ] Me.

[ The other one goes above his head. ] Lydia.

Seriously? That's some messed up social order.

[But Penny thinks quite highly of Stiles.]

I guess so. It'd be nice if it didn't, though... if being a decent person counted for something.

It'll happen eventually. [She grabs a pile of unsorted clothes from the closet.] Until then... do you think there's a better way to sort these?

By type and size? [ Eyeing up the clothes. ] Some people like to layer up in summer anyway. And maybe they're from places super hot so here is cold? I don't know crap about seasons but I can figure out my jeans from my jackets.
